Teaching dance is a science. This workshop talks about integrating proper alignment and technique and how it is essential to effectively train your students. We give you the tools and provide long term solutions to retrain your dancers.

Our registered physiotherapist who works out of Pivot Sports Medicine in Toronto Ontario Canada.

Mary Ellen is a graduate of McMaster University where she earned a Master of Science degree in Physiotherapy in 2012. Prior to this, she attended York University, graduating in 2010 with a BFA honours double major in Dance and Kinesiology. Through her background in dance, she has always had a love of movement, and physiotherapy has allowed her to continue to study how movement and exercise can decrease pain, restore function after injury, and increase quality of life at any age or activity level.
